About Prof. Larai Andrew Keswet

Prof. Larai A. Keswet is a Nigerian, and born in Jos North, Plateau State.  She is a sound career woman with the following educational qualifications:

She is currently a Professor in her field of specialization. Prof. Larai Keswet has worked and taught in some organizations and Institutions, among which the last three include: Mass Mobilization and Social Recovery (MAMSA), Bauchi State as a social Mobilization Officer, Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, Hotel and Catering Management Department in Bauchi State as a Lecturer and Head of Department for four years. She has been with the University of Jos since 2006 in the Faculty of Education, Science and Technology Education Department in Plateau State as a Lecturer, Researcher, an External Examiner and has been the Head of Department for two years now.

Prof. Larai Keswet is also the Chief Executive Officer of the KELANDY Skills Acquisition Development and Initiative (NGO) and KELANDY Creative Minds Cooperative Society respectively. She has and is still supervising many student’s projects at both Undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has over fifty national and International publications and she is also a member of Professional Bodies such as: Home Economics Research Association of Nigeria (HERAN), Home Economic Teachers Association (HETAN) and International Federation of Home Economics, among others.
